“I Cannot Sleep”, Victim Cries Out As He Suffers Harrowing Symptoms Of The Mpox Disease
An African man has revealed the harrowing symptoms of the mpox disease, as he finds it extremely difficult to sleep at all. He disclosed the high pain level of the mpox disease.
Egide Irambona, an African man, has revealed the distressing symptoms of the mpox disease as painful and makes it difficult for him to sleep. The mpox disease, which is also known as the Claude 1b, is a viral infection that recently erupted from DR. Congo.
He, Egide Irambona, is currently being treated at the hospital for the mpox disease in Burundi. The 40-years-old African man has shared the horrifying symptoms he’s experiencing in regard to the mpox disease.
Recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the mpox disease as a global emergency. The director-general for the World Health Organization (WHO) tagged the mpox disease as a public health emergency. Cases of the mpox disease have also been recorded in Sweden and Thailand. The Claude 1b which is a variant of the mpox disease is the less deadly compared to the other variants.
The variant is spreads rapidly through intercourse, and it’s very contagious. According to Egide Irambona, he had a swollen lymph nodes and the pains spread throughout the body. “ I had swollen lymph nodes in my throat. It was so painful I couldn’t sleep,” he explained. “Then the pain subsided there, and it moved to my legs.”, he said.
The cases of the mpox disease have moved to more than 170 as the outbreak continues to spread through Africa. The victim, Egide, who is from East Africa, disclosed, “I had swollen lymph nodes in my throat. It was so painful I couldn’t sleep. Then the pain subsided there, and it moved to my legs.”
“I had a friend who had blisters. I think I got it from him. I did not know it was mpox. Thankfully, our seven children have not shown any signs of having it”, he added. Egide, as of now, is nine days into treatment. He is at the King Khaled University Hospital. He is with two patients in the hospital at the moment.
According to him, he is sure he contracted the disease from a friend. Additionally, he has infected his wife with the mpox disease. At the hospital, 59 out of 61 beds are being occupied by patients infected with the mpox disease. The doctor at the facility, Odette Nsavyimann, expressed her concern over the increasing number of cases.
