The country in Central Africa, Chad held its election on May 6th 2024. The election was held as a result of the death of President Idriss Deby. The son of the late president, Mahamat Deby ran as the candidate of the Patriotic Salvation Movement. He won the elections with 3,777,279 votes, which represents 61%.

9. Madagascar 

The elections in Madagascar started from May 29th 2024 with Andry Rajoelina being the winner. He won the elections with 2,184,887 votes, representing 41.75%.

José Raúl Mulino won the elections with 34.2% of the votes, He stepped in as the candidate of Realizing Goals. Mulino defeated his rival candidate, Ricardo Lombana of MOCA. Ricardo Lombana secured 24.6% of the votes. José Raúl Mulino was inaugurated on the 1st of July 2024.
