2024 US Election Update: Black Voters Descend On Barack Obama For ‘Offensive Speech’ As Many Deem Him To Be Insensitive.
The 2024 US election will be held on the 5th of November and various campaigning has begun as former Black President of the United States, Barack Obama in a video, saw him talk to some black voters ahead of the election.
Former US President, Barack Obama disclosed a critical statement about former President, Donald Trump. Obama urged Black voters to show up for Kamala Harris on election day and vote her as the first Black woman President of the United States. He made this statement in a campaign in Pittsburgh.
In the video seen by GlobalCurrent24.com, he said, “You’re thinking about sitting out or supporting somebody who has a history of denigrating you, because you think that’s a sign of strength, because that’s what being a man is? Putting women down? That’s not acceptable”.
At the campaign field, the former President disclosed he wanted to “speak some truths” after he heard the Black voters were showing lower love for Kamala Harris ahead of the election.

“Part of it makes me think — and I’m speaking to men directly — part of it makes me think that, well, you just aren’t feeling the idea of having a woman as president, and you’re coming up with other alternatives and other reasons for that,” he said.

In response to this speech, numerous Black voters has responded to him with videos on X formerly twitter. Most of them have expressed complete dissatisfaction with the way the former president talked.
One X user with username, @TONYxTWO revealed in his video how disappointed he was with the former President’s speech as he also made it clearly that, the former President cannot and will not decide for the Black voter. He again added that, the former President should not think for them and should never involve any of his Black family in his speech as he is ‘pissed’ at the former President.

Also, another user, @w_terrence, disclosed in his video that he is a Black man, and he will definitely be voting for Donald Trump and that Barack Obama does not have the right to tell them what to do. In his words, he said, “Barack Obama, do you think people have to do what you say?, do you think you are the ruler of the Black people? You act like you own Black people. I’m not voting for Kamala Harris and a lot of Black people will not vote for her”.
