Startlink Internet Services, Prices and Packages Ghanaians Should Expect

What are the Startlink Internet Services Ghanaians should expect to be introduced onto the Ghanaian market following the announcement of the Ghana National Communication Authority that Starlink will officially begin its services in the country by the end August?

This is one of the key questions would be customers have started asking since the announcement was made. Ghana with a population of over 31 million is expecting nothing more than quality internet services at lower prices compared to what actors in the market are currently offering.

Ghanaian have been calling for a reduction in the prices of data in the last three months with no positive response from government. While the government is blaming telcos for the higher data prices, the telcos are also blaming the government for the current high data prices as a result of the several taxes imposed on data services by the central government.

According to a statement issued by the regulator, Startlink has completed all administrative and licensing procedures. Additionally, the internet service will be managed by SpaceX’s Starlink Ghana Limited.
