According to Cleveland Clinic, melanoma, which in other words, means, ‘black tumor’, is the most dangerous kind of skin cancer, hence, has the highest risk of death. Although its a deadly type of cancer, it could be cured if caught early. Melanoma, spreads quickly to other organs than any type of cancer.
The skin cancer, melanoma, could be sourced from melanocytes; skin cell. These cells produces melanin; pigment that gives colour to the skin. The preventive methods are highly intense if you are fair skinned, have blue eyes, and have a red or blonde hair. There are five stages in melanoma, and they are, stage 0, I, II, III, and IV. The initial stage is known as ‘melanoma in situ’.
The initial stage or the Stage 0 only happens at the top layer of the skin or the epidermis. The stage I, does not pose critical threat to the body, hence, can be treated with surgery. Stage II, indicates a high risk of recurrence. Stage III, pose an evidence of spreading, hence, the melanoma spreads to the nearby skin or the lymph nodes. The last stage or the stage IV, is the critical stage of the skin cancer, with this, the melanoma spreads to all internal organs.
Ninja, expressed his immense gratitude to the doctors for diagnosing the condition at its early stage. He further motivated his followers to go for checkups regularly. The gaming community expressed their love to him.
