Prior to releasing the video, numerous Ghanaians have descended on him for staging and deceiving Ghanaians in his initial tweet. An X user, @YouKnowGhana released a tweet moments after the video was shared by Cheddar. “A source just told me that the New Force candidate, Cheddar, wasn’t invited by any sitting UK MP. Also, another X user, @Popony_J shared his opinion on the matter, “UK Parliament na woy3 Cheddar b3ba. Cheddar be fraud”, his tweet read. Read his full tweet here.
However, one user also revealed that, the UK Parliament has three branches which are, the House of Lords, House of Commons, and the Sovereign. He disclosed that, non-members of the UK Parliament cannot enter the Main House but a section for commoners or non-members is available but at a fee.
“I spent two hours investigating Cheddar’s speech in UK Parliament and discovered some interesting facts. The UK Parliament has three branches: the Sovereign, the House of Lords, and the House of Commons . Non-members can’t enter the main branch, but there’s a section for commoners to deliver speeches, as long as they bring their own audience and pay a fee. After paying the fee, the UK sends junior officials to attend your speech.
Cheddar’s speech was delivered in the House of Commons, which is surprisingly accessible to the public. In fact, anyone can give a speech there, including you and me. Despite my admiration for Cheddar, I think he might be overdoing things”, @JasperZiggle shared on X.
With about few weeks to the 2024 general elections, there has been a rise in critics for Nana Kwame Bediako. The initial one was his comment on the Stop Galamsey Now and Free The Citizens’ demonstration that happened last week.
With the spike in controversies, do you think the New Force will be the ‘Force’ to break Ghana away from the coin tossing of the NPP and NDC?
