Early Life Of Kamala Harris

At the age of seven, she witnessed her parents divorce. She moved with her sister and mother to Montreal, Canada at age 12. Kamala Harris dreamed of becoming a lawyer. Upon graduating from the Westmount High School in Quebec, Canada, she returned to the United States. She continued her education at the Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Kamala Harris earned her B.A and later returned to California to earn her J.D at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
Kamala’s Journey To Becoming San Francisco District Attorney
Kamala Harris defeated Terence Hallinan, her former boss, to be elected in 2003 as San Francisco’s district attorney. In the history books, Kamala is the first black woman to have ever held that position. She further became the attorney general for California in 2010.
Running Mate For President Biden
