AFCON 2025 Qualifiers: Sudan vs Ghana Confirmed Line-ups For The Game In Benghazi, Libya. Only One Change Has Been Made So Far From The Ghanaian Side.
Coach Otto Addo makes a fresh change as he drops Jordan Ayew from the starting eleven. Athletic Bilbao striker, Inaki Williams, replaces the Leicester City forward in the starting XI.
Sudan will host the Black Stars of Ghana at the Al-Merreikh Stadium in Benghazi, Libya on Tuesday afternoon, as the former Black stars coach, Kwesi Appiah hopes to secure a victory. The Sudanese side is second in Group F with four points after their win against Niger and a goalless draw against Ghana last week. Their loss came against the tame Angola. The Falcons of Jediane will be aiming to fly past the Black Stars of Ghana.
Last Thursday at the Accra Sports Stadium, the Sudanese side suffered numerous threatening goal opportunities as they were saved by luck. The Black Stars could not convert most of their chances. Both Inaki Williams and Mohammed Kudus missed a huge tap-in to break the deadlock for the Black Stars.
The Black Stars of Ghana will have to secure a win if they do want to be at the next AFCON. As of now, the table for Group F sees Angola as the leader with 9 points.
