Man Sets Himself On Fire Outside Trump Trial Court – According to videos seen and reports by local authorities.
The former president was inside Manhattan Criminal Court when a man’s body was allegedly engulfed in flames for at least three minutes.
Shortly after a full jury was seated for former US President Donald Trump’s criminal trial, a man set himself on fire outside the courthouse. Emergency personnel rushed the individual away on a stretcher. Police declined to provide any additional information.
A man set himself on fire on Friday, April 19, outside the Manhattan courthouse where Donald Trump is on trial, according to New York police, with officers rushing to extinguish the flames.
The entire jury selection process had just been completed when live television images showed smoke gushing from what was reported to be a person on fire. A police officer could be seen hurrying with a fire extinguisher, and CNN’s reporter reported a strong odor of burning flesh and fuel.
“A male lit himself on fire outside the Supreme Courthouse. A spokesman for the New York Police Department said, “We’re still gathering details from the field.”
It was unclear whether the self-immolation was related to Trump’s case, but the heinous incident took place in a park opposite the 100 Centre Street courthouse, which has been used by authorities to apprehend both pro- and anti-Trump protesters, as well as some members of the media. The New York Police Department had promised a major deployment to ensure the trial went smoothly, with the force’s head of intelligence, John Hart, describing it as a “major challenge.”
The fire department did not respond to a request for comment, but media reports indicated that the man was taken away for medical treatment.
TV reporters described what happened moments after the full panel of 12 jurors and six alternates was chosen for the former president’s trial in a hush money cover-up case. Trump’s criminal trial, the first for a former president, is taking place in a 15th-floor courtroom packed with Secret Service agents and court police.
The man left a manifesto behind before setting himself on fire. Read the manifesto below:
Manifesto Of Man Who Set Himself On Fire Outside Trump Trial
“My name is Max Azzarello, and I am an investigative researcher who has set himself on fire outside the Trump trial in Manhattan. This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery: We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup.”
