Do Not Ignore – 3 Possible Reasons People Die In Their Sleep
Here are possible reasons people die in their sleep. People dying in their sleep have risen above the charts recently due to underlying health conditions.
Falling asleep is natural and death on the other hand is inevitable. Some humans do die while sleeping and this could be caused by many factors. Having adequate rest is essential for the body and its wellbeing.
According to an old Greek saying, “sleep and death are related”. There are numerous things that could go wrong while asleep. Some of us do sleep and wake up strong while others do not wake up at all, hence, died a natural death.
Experts have advised we go for regular checkups, consume diets which will prolong our life and also not pose as to any critical condition or illness.
Mostly there could have been underlying conditions which became critical at the point of sleeping, hence, no help was available which resulted in the supposed natural death. In this context, I have listed a few causes of this situation.
1. Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Carbon monoxide with the chemical formula, CO is a colorless and orderless gas which when inhaled constantly could pose a critical health hazard. Leakages from gas stoves, and other house appliances with CO could lead to the supposed natural death.
When one constantly breathes in the carbon monoxide gas in his or her sleep, it becomes very dangerous to the person. This could result in dizziness, and weakness which could be fatal if help does not come quickly.
2. Cardiac Arrest
According to experts and research done, critical cardiac arrest could happen at anytime to anyone when the sinoatrial node is damaged. The sinoatrial node is a tiny specialized tissue which can be found in the atria of the heart.
The sinoatrial node produces electrical stimulus from 60 to 100 times per minute. The cardiac arrest occurs when the generation of the electrical stimulus goes wrong. Cardiac arrests mostly happens like 60% all the time.
3. Apnea
This is a sleep disorder where breathing stops and restarts, repeatedly. If you snore loudly and still feel sleepy after a full night’s sleep then one could be suffering from apnea. This happens as a result of a fault from the brain stem.
With a condition like this, one is at a high risk of natural death because it makes one’s oxygen level drops way below the normal level. Once, there is a deficiency in Oxygen, hypoxia develops. Hypoxia causes change in breathing patterns.
Thinking of dying in your sleep is extremely scary. Having been diagnosed with underlying conditions could also become a factor, hence, victims of critical conditions are advised to seek professional advice to avoid such situations from happening.
Sleep death is more common these days in the world. Sleep death could also result from critical stroke conditions, overdose of a medicine, or seizure. Sleep death is also referred to as nocturnal death.
Wondered why some deceased people’s death were tagged as natural? The aforementioned could be some possible causes. It is better to go for regular checkups and also stay healthy at all times. Good life, live it well.
