And it’s officially over: Donald Trump wins 2024 US Elections after securing a strong win in the country’s key swing states ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Donald Trump will be officially declared the winner of the 2024 US Presidential Elections after amassing 270 and counting electoral votes and winning the famous key swing state, Pennsylvania. He is set to be the 47th President of the United States after he ruled the country from 2016 to 2020.

The first poll closed at 6 p.m. ET, as some polls were extended due to bomb threats. The race was to determine the candidate who would win 270 electoral votes. The 270 electoral votes depended on key swing states like Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.

As of now, Donald Trump has amassed 66.5 million votes so far and Kamala Harris has amassed 61.3 million votes so far. Donald Trump won key state Georgia after 95% of the votes were counted. Trump amassed 2,643,743 votes in Georgia, which made him earn the 16 electoral votes in this key swing state.

Again, Donald Trump won the key swing state, Pennsylvania, as the results flipped in favour of him after an early lead from Kamala Harris. With 95% of the votes counted, Trump was leading with more than 200,000 votes, which has earned him 19 electoral votes.

However, a shocking event was the result from North Carolina, which flipped in favour of the former President. Donald Trump won North Carolina with more than 200,000 votes, which earned him 16 electoral votes.

Again, Donald Trump leads in Arizona, which is also a key swing state after 95% of the votes have been counted. As of now, the results coming in favors the former President with a 70,000 gap lead, which has earned him 11 electoral votes.

After winning the major key swing state, Pennsylvania, the former President, Donald J. Trump is set to be the 47th President of the United States of America.
